WHO's SEARO meeting venue in New Delhi

The 72nd Session of World Health
Organization Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEARO) meeting is being held
in New Delhi. At the inauguration of the Session of WHO Regional Committee for
South-East Asia, Dr Vardhan said, universal health for all, a disease-free
India and global standards of excellence in health care is the aim of the NDA
Government for a new India.
UNICEF conference in Colombo

India gave a strong rebuttal to
Pakistani attempt to raise Kashmir issue at UNICEF South Asian Parliamentarian
conference in Colombo. The event in Colombo was organized by
Sri Lankan Parliament together with the United
Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the
convention of the rights of the child and did not have any political agenda.

Exercise Yudh Abhyas – 2019

As part of the ongoing Indo-US
defence cooperation, a joint military training, Exercise Yudh Abhyas - 2019 is
being conducted at Joint Base Lewis Mc Chord, Washington, USA from 05-18
September 2019. Exercise Yudh Abhyas is one of the largest joint running
military training and defence corporation endeavors between India and USA. This
will be the 15th edition of the joint exercise hosted alternately between the
two countries.
